Calendar & Closures​​

This calendar applies to boarding services unless otherwise noted. Daycare, walks, and in-home visits may operate on modified schedules during certain closures.

Availability is limited by design. Some dates may reflect FULLY BOOKED, small-dog-only availability, or holiday peak periods.

Important Booking Notes​

• Holiday and peak-time reservations may carry special rates and non-refundable terms

• In rare cases where we are able to accommodate requests during FULLY BOOKED holiday periods, an additional daily fee may apply to support extra staffing

• Acceptance is currently limited to dogs 40 lbs and under

• Size categories:
  X-Small (up to 12 lbs) · Small (12–25 lbs) · Medium (25–40 lbs) · Large (40+ lbs)

November 2026

• November 1–2: FULLY BOOKED

• November 10: A.M. boarding check-ins only for the holiday.

• November 11: CLOSED for Veterans Day — All Services

  • In observance of Veterans Day and in recognition of our Veteran-Owned Business, we will be staffed for pets currently in our care only.

• November 25: ½-Day Daycare Only

  • A.M. boarding check-ins only.

• November 26–27: CLOSED for Thanksgiving

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

• November 28: Check-outs only

  • Paid Saturday rate applies.

December 2026

• December 16–21: Small dog spots only

• December 23: A.M. boarding check-ins only

• December 23–26: Limited Reservations

  • Reservations will be accepted only for regular daycare and boarding clients whose travel plans remain within Connecticut.

  • FurryFriends4Life LLC’s vacation begins December 27.

  • Reservations booked during this period cannot be extended. Thank you for your understanding.

• December 24–25: CLOSED

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

• December 26: A.M. check-outs only

  • Paid full Saturday rate applies.

• December 26, 2026–January 3, 2027: CLOSED — Tentative Dates

  • No boarding check-ins on December 26 or January 4.

  • If there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes, daycare will resume January 4.

  • All other services will resume January 5.

January 2027

• January 1–3: CLOSED — Tentative Dates

• January 16–18: CLOSED for Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

  • All holiday visitors must be checked in by January 15.

 

February 2027

• February 13–15: CLOSED for Presidents’ Day Weekend

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

  • All holiday visitors must be checked in by February 12.

• February 26: Daycare Only — No Boarding

• February 27–28: CLOSED

  • See the February 27–March 1 notice below for service resumption details.

March 2027

• March 1: CLOSED

• March 2: No boarding check-ins. If there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes, daycare will be in session.

• March 3: All other services will resume.

April 2027

• April 10–18: CLOSED

  • No boarding check-ins on April 9 or April 19.

  • If there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes, daycare and walks will resume April 19.

  • All other services will resume April 20.

May 2027

• May 8–9: CLOSED for Mother’s Day Weekend

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

  • All holiday visitors must be checked in by May 7.

• May 27–31: Tentative Closure

  • No reservations will be accepted until our children’s soccer calendar is finalized.

June 2027

• June 19–20: CLOSED for Father’s Day Weekend and Juneteenth

  • Staffed for pets currently in our care only.

  • All holiday visitors must be checked in by June 18.

• June 22–30: CLOSED — Vacation Schedule

  • No boarding check-ins on June 21 or July 1.

  • If there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes, daycare and walks will resume July 2.

  • All other services will resume July 3.

July 2027

• July 1: CLOSED — Vacation Schedule

  • No boarding check-ins.

• July 2: Daycare and walks will be in session if there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes.

• July 3: All other services will resume.

• July 31: CLOSED — Vacation Schedule

  • No boarding check-ins on July 30 or August 10.

  • If there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes, daycare will be in session August 10.

  • All other services will resume August 11.

August 2027

• August 1–9: CLOSED — Vacation Schedule

• August 10: Daycare only, provided there are no flight cancellations or itinerary changes. No boarding check-ins.

• August 11: All other services will resume.

Vacation dates not yet finalized. No reservations will be accepted until confirmed. Dates may change.
